A month of Chaos!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have blogged, it's been a month of chaos.  I married the love of my life on June 9 and a few days later was living in Gillette, Wyoming.  So between last minute wedding planning, packing, moving and now unpacking to start our life together here in Wyoming, the month got away from me.

I have been putting alot of thought into the fact that I am moving almost 3 states away from the the one place I've always known, and has known me in just a couple of weeks.  After some thought, I have decided to initiate a spokes model program.  For families, high school seniors, maurnity & newborns.

Attention Gillette, Wyoming area!!  Katina Reist Photography is seeking fun, motivated, families that are active in their community to be spokes models.  This is your chance to recieve a full family session at no cost to you, and then earn credit toward prints just by sharing your photos online, and referring your friends!!

Brainstorms

I do alot of my brainstorming when I'm driving, which it seems I am doing alot of lately, you know those random thoughts that just pop into your head and you're like "Wow, that would be fantastic!!! Now how do I do that???"

I really am excited about my most recent brainstorm.  My little friend Bailee had asked about a bed for her doll, we made her doll a bed out of a box. This request got me to thinking about the bed my dolls had though.  That was made for a life sized doll, and how wonderful that bed would be to use for new born photos.... And the thunder and lightening were going, and before I knew it I was digging in my dad's dirty old garage for my doll cradle.  Soon this lovely handmade antique (yes I used the "a" word) will be refurbished and I will be able to use it for new born photo sessions!!! So excited to get started on this.
